Easily one of the best rpg in the past decade

I bought this game after a friend recommended and it's one of the best games I've played in years. Either single player or multiplayer(local or online). The feeling you get is that you are playing a very good RPG campaign with friends. For anyone that likes turn based RPG, this is a must have.

A Perfect RPG

At first, I thought Divinity: Original Sin II was overrated, which is exactly why I avoided the game. I was very wrong; if you are a fan of D&D or intensive role playing set in fantasy campaigns, you will adore this game. I became a fan before I made it half way through the game. It can be tedious and time-consuming, but it is an experience worth going through. Especially if you have a lover, friend or sibling to play with locally via the split-screen feature.

Unmissable Game for RPG Fans.

This is an incredible game. There is so much depth to the combat – Baldurs Gate on steroids! With so many ways to play the game you can easily get multiple playthroughs and not be bored. Multi-player co-op is fantastic, all they need now is to have cross play.

How much you enjoy this game depends greatly on how much you enjoy the combat because, judging from a few dozen hours of play so far, there's little else to it. I really don't see what all the hype is about. Yes its pretty good but its not amazing. I found the combat to be underwhelming and often a bit frustrating, and the gameplay outside the combat to be fairly monotonous. I will say it has excellent voice acting across the board. The quality and variation in the voice acting puts the big triple A games to shame. The combat is actually the game's biggest draw and also its biggest flaw. In my opinion it is poorly balanced with the Classic or normal mode being punishingly difficult and the next mode down, explorer not presenting any challenge at all. I was forced to play on that difficulty because I literally couldn't progress with the game after reaching a certain point as every way I turned I was met with an impossible battle. Since then its been a boring cake walk.
