A long and tedious grind fest with a bland story, uninteresting characters and no depth past "kill more things to get more stuff to kill more things with". There is literally no other point to this game.

Having played and enjoyed Diablo II years ago on the PC, I was excited to try the new game on the new (to me, anyway) platform of the PS3. The game didn't disappoint--as it gave me exactly what I expected-- but I have a couple of criticisms.... 1) Not much new here.
After the Diablo 2 series this was a much awaited title. Good in its own ways, but it takes away the cherry. Diblo 2 LOD was a lot more fun. This is just a CD Key purchase. You'll have to download around 13 GB od data for this to start working which is ridiculous...!!
Diablo III is now available on consoles, but I still can't work out exactly why . There's no denying that it works , that it functions . Last year's dungeon-crawling experience has been faithfully recreated here in its entirety, save for the real money auction house and always-online connection...
Functional and fun dungeon crawling; intelligently streamlined; Melee classes totally revitalised; Immensely enjoyable - if sometimes inconvenient - local multiplayer; You can play it offline if you want to
Hopeless storyline, context and characters make no effort to ground new players in the lore..; despite being the final chapter in a TRILOGY, Dreary and unsatisfying ranged combat, massively repetitious by design, Very linear and restrictive level design compared to other ARPGs, Short (if highly...
Blizzard's Diablo series will always call the PC home. However, the PS3 version of its third installment presents enough constructive distinction to breathe new life into the franchise, thereby giving strictly console gamers a chance to experience Diablo III on their own terms.
After causing calluses on clicking fingers far and wide on PC, Diablo III has come to consoles and swapped the mice and keyboards for gamepads. The result is an experience that feels somewhat different; clicking the screen to guide your heroes around isn't the same as having direct control of their...
Powerful abilities make combat enjoyable; Flexible; customizable character classes; Endless; alluring loot; Varied locations that cry out to be explored; Harder difficulty levels change up the game significantly
Weapon system flies in the face of traditional RPG logic; Local cooperative play is disappointing
Diablo 3 "Stay awhile and listen." Those immortal words of Deckard Cain have become iconic to Diablo fans who have spent many, many hours collecting the "phat loot" of Diablo 1 and Diablo 2. Sadly, Blizzard has jeopardized future good memories by trivializing Deckard Cain's Warning: Spoiler!
Beautiful graphics; mindless fun; no AH
Boring and bland itemization; terrible voice acting; poor economy
This is a good game right here. Diablo 3 has often been criticized as not being very fun, or not as fun as Diablo 2. Well, they're just looking at the game fondly with nostalgia goggles. D3 is not only very fun and engaging, it's replayability is totally staggering.

The Devil is in the detail, as hell heads to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
