Diablo III (PS3) Review

Hey, remember Baldur's Gate and its sequel, Shadows of Amn Remember how awesome those games were I do. I also remember when Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance was announced, and how a lot of people were complaining because it was only for consoles.

Still a Great Game | Diablo 3 Console Review

The Diablo franchise has become one of the most famous role playing game franchises ever produced. Diablo 2 sold over four million copies, and with a game that successful, the sequel could not come fast enough. However, Diablo 3 took just about twelve years to come out.

+Focus on Fun; +New Control Scheme

-Slightly inferior graphics

Hack N' Slash Goodness on the Xbox 360!!

Console gamers are in for a real treat when they grab the highly anticipated game Diablo 3 for the consoles. It's been just about a year since the PC version of Diablo 3 has been out.

Loot!!! (lot's of it); Lot's of hacking and slashing; good graphics; and tons of replayability!

Aiming is a little tedious with controller and inventory screen takes time to get used to

Diablo III Review

Blizzard, kings of the online PC game, make a long-awaited return to consoles with this PS3 and Xbox 360 version of last year's action-RPG smash. Although the first Diablo and StarCraft were ported to PlayStation and N64 respectively by other studios, this is the first console game Blizzard has made...

Superb; intense action role-playing; with an excellent new control scheme on consoles; One of the best couch co-op games you can buy; with every option you can think of; Brilliant character classes with spectacular skills; all freely customisable

Loot is better than the PC game; but still not as exciting as it might be; Cheesy story that's fun at first; but wears out its welcome on multiple playthroughs; Randomisation is a bit too gentle to really keep things fresh

Diablo III

I was only level 12, barely a couple of hours into my first runthrough of Diablo III when it happened. My Witch Doctor was neck-deep in battle on the Fields of Misery, bloody body parts, loot, and gold spraying everywhere when suddenly a ring hit the ground with a distinctive clang, shining a...

Strong loot game; Weighty combat; Good performance; Local co-op

Average graphics

A Great Game!

I have played the Diablo games from the start. I had the first Diablo on both PC and Playstation, Diablo 2 on the PC. Fantastic games and I even met my husband playing Diablo over Battlenet, when the clan Heavens Angels and Dojo were about.

Diablo 3

It's been over a decade since we braved the Burning Hells to pluck humanity from the Lord of Terror's gaping maw, and the games industry, Blizzard included, has changed quite a bit during Diablo's hiatus.

+ Changes from the PC version are smart and work well on 360; + Deep RPG elements lead to endless customization of skills and gear

- Framerate can get choppy when too many enemies and spell effects are on the screen; ? How did scorpions end up in other dimensions?

Diablo III Console Review

While I never played the PC version of Diablo III I have heard all about the original issues, including the Error 37 Busy Server problem which plagued the opening launch. However the developers have learned from the above mistake with the console version, so now you can take on the vile denizens of...

Game review: Diablo III

With the release of any sequel, comparisons to the original are inevitable. Diablo III follows on from the juggernaut that was Diablo II, the king of hack-and-slash RPGs, and a game still played nearly twelve years from its release.
