Small saw can punch above its weight
This is a great little saw. I used it to build my pool shed, so far, and it easily cut the 1-2" sheathing, some 3-4"ply and the 2" lumber. Battery time is excellent and charging is quick. I found the saw light and easy to handle yet easy to maintain accurate cuts.

Bought this bare unit for infrequent use, havent used it a great deal but have been impressed when i have. Very comfortable saw to use and accurate with cuts

Great Saw at a great price
I got the Dewalt saw to take the place of a regular skill saw. I have another brand battery powered saw that while convenient, had only a 3 inch saw. For cutting thin wood it worked (slowly at times) but it worked. However, it just didn't 'cut it' on wood such at a 2X4.

Having been a skeptic of battery powered circular saws I have to say I'm fully converted! The saw is not at the point of replacing my corded version completely...yet, but I don't suspect it'll be long.

This is a great saw for what I used it for
This is a great saw for what I used it for. I replaced the wood on my utility trailer which had 12 1x6 boards that needed to be replaced. I made at least 15 cuts ( I had to cut some twice as the trailer wasn't square).

Great Saw!
Got this saw recently and absolutely love it! Very easy to use, quick blade changes, and as much quality and precision as I have come to expect from Dewalt. Very handy having the 20V MAX system and not being limited by cords. Another product that performs above and beyond. Great job Dewalt!

Great tool
I have used this tool a lot over the last year since i bought it. I am very happy with the tool the only thing that I would have to make known is that when using this tool make sure that you are using a stronger longer lasting battery. If you don't then it binds up with simple cuts.

I have a small shop in my garage and I couldn't be happier. With a 4 amp hour battery*, I can work on a project and never have to worry about losing power. Saw cuts well and nimble too. I love this tool almost as much as the Dewalt jig saw I bought!! *battery purchased separately
