Devil's Third is an exercise in cynicism, a video game seemingly created for people who secretly hate them. There's barely even a seed of a good idea here, let alone a fully formed one.

From time to time, we all get nostalgic for bygone generations in gaming history. The PS2 years were among my favorites, but that doesn't mean that I want to forgo all of the modern advances in technology and design in order to return to that era.

The single-player campaign begins with the main protagonist in his prison cell, rocking out on his drumkit. Yes, that's right; Ivan has a number of luxuries in his cell. Even if it isn't explained how he got all that in there, it's still awesome!

A great game so far, it has its details but the overall game is really fun. I really like the mix of hack and slash with the 3rd person shooter mechanic of the game. Its a little linear but the action I think it makes you ovelook that aspect of the levels.
