DmC: Definitive Edition

Ninja Theory's 2013 Devil May Cry reboot was controversial, but if you could look beyond its precocious young Dante and his cropped dark hair, you would find one of the slickest, smartest brawlers of recent years.

Excellent combat; Imaginative art design; Intense turbo mode; The most comprehensive version

Visual enhancements only minor; Tries a little too hard to be punk

DMC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition

DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition Review

While the trend of re-releasing last gen games on new hardware isn't always a welcome one, I do like that DmC is now available in "Definitive" form. It's a game that sales wise did okay, but they weren't the figures that Capcom were hoping for.

The sharper visuals, smooth 60-fps gameplay, and other features and enhancements gave me plenty of reasons to be happy about...

Ready for some more Rebellion Dante sure is, and he'll be raising hell again in DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition , but this time with glorious next generation power backing him.

By my estimation, Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition is the sixth Devil May Cry game I've reviewed since April of 2012. I reviewed last gen's HD collection of the original trilogy, DMC Devil May Cry and Vergil's Downfall a year or so later, and now it's the PS4 version of Devil May Cry: Definitive...

DmC Definitive Edition beefs up the excellent original with better graphics, all the DLC, retuned combat, and a host of difficulty modes. If you loved the original, Definitive is better.
