I feel co-op doesn't need to be in every single game and Dead Space was one of them. Because I feel Dead Space was predominantly a Single Player Survival Horror game to me. With all these things Dead space 3 was a mediocre game to me. Nothing Jaw dropping, Nothing to memorable, RIP Dead Space.

Dead Space 3 is, of course, the long awaited third iteration of a series that began life as a survival horror game and ended with something notably less fear inducing, but still thoroughly enjoyable.

Dead Space 3 is another hugely engaging and entertaining entry in the series, but it's hampered by uneven pacing, predictable scares, a surfeit of aggressive enemies and too many frustrating bits.

You should absolutely play Awakened if you've already beaten Dead Space 3. It's one of the more original and memorable parts of Isaac's story… which says as much about Dead Space 3 as a game as it does the quality of this DLC.

The survival-horror genre gets such a bad rap these days that it's tempting to overlook them for games with a frantic gunplay, co-op multiplayer elements, customizable weapons or … wait, that's actually what Dead Space 3 offers.

The Dead Space series is renowned for its inventive approach to the survival horror genre. Amongst the crowded shooter market, Dead Space found its home as a great horror series. It originally found its reputation through the amount of tension established during its missions.

Dead Space 3 was simultaneously building up a big hype and setting itself up for a fail in the months preceding its release. With all of EA's money behind it, Isaac Clarke and his trademark plasma cutter was plastered on advertisements all over the world, just begging to be mainstreamed to death and...

Dead Space 3 is less scary and more action-packed this time around. It's like the developers just wanted to push the story on through (what's left of it) and keep everything flowing. This does make you puzzled at times where at times you don't really know what's going on.

While the buzz surrounding the game brought fear to a lot of the series' veteran players over the past few months, I'm happy to report that the final product is a near-perfect balance of classic Dead Space and action-oriented gameplay.

Before we get started, I'm going to preface this review with what it isn't. While the presence of a substantial amount of launch DLC that could have easily become a part of the product at large has its implications, I'm not going to focus on that in the course of this review.
