It's 2021 and Willamette just can't seem to catch a break. Shortly after the grand opening of the Willamette Memorial Megaplex, the city was overrun by the walking dead. Didn't this already happen about fifteen years ago

This game was full of bugs on the Xbox version ... this version is better but still froze on me twice .... but I can't stay away from this game until I beat it
Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is an exceptional port of the original package, with additional content that fans will have a blast with. But that doesn't mean it isn't still the worst entry in the series by quite a wide margin.
Occasional funny moments; Stupid; fun weapons
Dull open world; Shallow combat; Boring missions; Frustrating encounters; Numerous visual and audio problems
Dead Rising 4 review copy provided by Capcom Dead Rising 4 should, by all accounts, be a big dumb hoot. It sees the return of Frank West. There's ridiculous weapons and costumes. And it has enough zombies to cover two apocalypses. Most importantly, it's set at bloody Christmas.
We can't quite believe it's been 11 years since the first Dead Rising was released. Not because the original sits particularly fresh in our memory but because it never seemed the sort of thing to justify three sequels and innumerable spin-offs, remasters, and cameos in other games.
The new open world environment is fun, and so are most of the weapons and combos; Frank is great and the exo suit abilities and Capcom Heroes are welcome
Almost nothing in the way of new ideas; And while the lack of time limits will please as many people as it irritates, the removal of campaign co-op is inexcusable
I've always struggled to settle into the Dead Rising series. Though I've enjoyed the moment-to-moment gameplay, the crafting, the combat and the exploration, I always find the time-limit to be too imposing.
Positives + A lot of content + Consistently rewards you for playing + Some genuinely funny moments
Negatives - Game is just fine; nothing more - Combat is underwhelming
The Dead Rising series is now over a decade old, and while I guess I could consider myself a veteran, that status is somewhat fresh. I remember buying the original on its release date, and I remember even better being put off by its structure and a hundred tiny annoyances that congealed into one...
Some guys just can't catch a break, and if you are a photojournalist with a knack for stumbling into the undead, you might just be Frank West. Developed by Capcom, Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package is the latest iteration in Frank West's series of unfortunate events.
Fleshed Out Story; Improved Combat; Inspired Combination Weapons; Frank West is Great
Mini Golf Gets Old Fast; Humor Detracts From Horror
Frank West is back, well kinda, taking away his new look and voice and all, but still, it's the wise cracking Frank West that fans know and love (kinda). Set in the year 2022, a good 16 years after the events of the original outbreak in Willamette and a year after the events of Dead Rising 3 , Photo...
Some funny moments; Loads to do in this huge sandbox world; Super Ultra Rising 4 Mini Golf is a lot of fun
Clunky combat; Clunky inventory navigation; I still hate psychopath encounters
It is funny to think the original Dead Rising is over a decade old. The first game came out at the dawn of the Xbox 360 and became something of a cult hit. A technical showcase at first, there was a dumb charm in Capcom taking a new spin on the zombie genre by riffing George A.
Fun to craft some weapons and murder zombies; Performance was solid with only a few bugs; Can be charmingly stupid; Capcom Heroes is actually funny and great for fans
No post-game open world exploration; DLC packs all have issues that make them hard to recommend; Story and characters are lacking; Barely noticeable soundtrack; Missing the 'spirit' of the early games
