With a few very minor exceptions, Dead Island combines all of the best parts of Borderlands and Elder Scrolls flawlessly. It is downright addictive, and hugely rewarding once you start getting the better weapons and skills.

Great melee combat; interesting skill trees; novel concept
Abysmal story; tepid gunplay; repetitive quests; graphical glitches

Gory, bloody and somehow very fun. This is yet another zombie title worth mentioning. Combat is great. Atmosphere is amazing. Characters hmmmmm not so much, but still okay.Story is bit repetitive, but still pretty good.
