Awesome game, very fast shipping love overstock!

From a distance, Banoi looks like a holidaymaker's paradise: a tropical island in a sparkling blue ocean, home to a luxury beach resort. Get closer, though, and you'll spot blood on the sand (and on the walls, and in the swimming pools). Zombies are shambling around by the beach bars.

I'm not a die hard gamer, but do enjoy playing from time to time and was looking for a decent zombie game. A family member recommended this to me and I'm so glad he did. The game sends the player on different tasks sending you all over the island z resort - dodging and battling zombies all the way.

Imagine, if you will, a game where you play as a little skeleton rising from the grave and, in an attempt to escape the Grim Reaper and the graveyard where you were interred, you're only option is to punt your skull as hard as you can. All for Game Center-centric leaderboard lust of course.

This is unquestionably worth the <$20 price tag, just based on the single player campaign alone. Since I was doing all of the side quests and some unnecessary killing and exploring, it took me about a day and a half, maybe 2 days just to finish the first act of the game.

Entertaining; gore galore; several days worth of single player game play to run through the game once (then you can run through it again and again while keeping your stuff but increasing your level and getting better items)

The graphics are a little dated, particularly the zombie and NPC graphics; NPCs mouths barely move when they talk, and look about like ventriloquist dummies; Driveable vehicles don't take any visible damage other than a broken window and some smoke from the engine.

In the end, Dead Island is a fun game to play. It offers great visuals and varied environments that make it a great setting, and offers very satisfying gameplay. It is fairly long as well, and with multiple characters to play as, you will always have a reason to go back to it.

Dead Island first gained a lot of attention when its first trailer was released and since then everybody has been hyping this game up like it was the next Half-Life. I got the game as soon as it was released and I was treated on yet another beautiful cutscene that served as the game's intro.

Takes away all of the elements that made Dead Island fun. No level up. That means no skill tree. Really difficult with no real payoff. This story takes place concurrently with that of Dead Island's.

I bought this around 2 weeks ago for £5 which turns out to be decent value. The game is not as good as the original but for the price you can't go wrong. Great if you love arcade style games with not much story just action.
