A Good Time

I enjoyed this game a lot. I was a little put off at first by the changes to Dante, but once I got past that it was really a lot of fun. Gameplay I'd give it a 9/10, story 7/10. For the price, this is absolutely worth picking up.

DmC is perfect for hardcore and casual gamers

DmC is a new and creative take on the franchise the gameplay and action is fast intence and overall fun. There has been some To-Boo on DmC dew to Dantes new look and persinality but once you get in there mutalating countless demons you wont notice. i recomend this game to all gamers.

DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition

Two years ago, DmC hit last-gen consoles and PC to rave reviews. As someone who liked, but didn't really love the original Devil May Cry trilogy, I absolutely adored the reboot. Now, time has passed and brought with it a new console generation that is sorely lacking in action-heavy games like this.

DmC Definitive Edition

Released in early 2013 DmC: Devil May Cry made a lot of waves for its dramatic visual changes to its stylish main character Dante. The not-quite prequel not-quite reboot tackled Dante's origins, covering everything from the source of his power to a light explanation behind his signature red coat --...

In retrospect.

What a difference a frame rate makes. Say what you will about just how much people actually notice frame rate and resolution , but for games that value split-second timing, those extra 30 frames are essential.

60fps makes the already deep combat system even better; Ambitious and satirical story; Great voice acting; New modifiers and modes let you make the game as insanely hard as you like; Sharper visuals make the most of DmC's keen sense of style

Vergil's Downfall DLC isn't as strong as the core game

In short, DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition doesn't really add all that much to the original mix other than graphical smoothing and an improved framerate, but then it doesn't really need to.

DmC: Devil May Cry

"...the combat excels, rivaling the best that the action genre has to offer." "...while DmC has some slick demons to slay, you'll encounter most of them within the first half of the game." "...you'll marvel in awe as static environments transform into imaginative death traps."

The stylish combo-driven combat; The top-notch level design; Finding collectibles and testing your mettle in challenge missions

The lack of enemy variety; Imaginative bosses dont test your skill; Lackluster story feels like a missed opportunity

DmC: Devil May Cry - Definitive Edition (Xbox One) Review

Devil May Cry has been around for a long time and was in a desperate need of a reboot, so the folks over at Ninja Theory were brought on board and gave their new vision the incredibly awkward title ' DmC Devil May Cry .
