You may be sick of hearing about "the Cloud" by now, but you might as well get used to it. The Cloud has invaded NASes and networked media players and it's now starting to engulf the lowly router. The first example of this new genus is D-Link's DIR-605L Cloud Router .

This unit replaces a Cisco and actually works better than the old Cisco router I had. It has better range, signal and speed. I can now take full advantage of the signal speed of my internet provider on my wireless devices. It is great!!!

As Wi-Fi routers go, the D-Link Cloud Router (DIR-605L) isn't a top performer--it has the basic 2x2 antenna array required for 802.11n certification, and its LAN ports support only 10/100 (not gigabit) ethernet.

I needed a router that could act as a bridge and wireless AP for my home network. The store representative recommended this product to me (for half what I was prepared to spend!) and I took it home. Plugged it in as the included directions asked, and it automatically set everything up!
