Great Router
I purchase this D-Link Router after owning a older D-link model that i was very happy with. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be as good, but this D-link Dir-605L has exceeded my expectations. My internet seems faster, it works great with my wii. I have no problem streaming movies.

"For the price it can't be beat!"
Love this router, I have had zero connection drops or required resets since I plugged it in compared to my last router which I had to do constantly. It doesn't have all the bell & whistles but if you just need a simple wireless network to share the Internet access among devices this one can't be...

You've probably never heard of a Cloud Router before. Neither did we, that is, until D-Link came along to introduce the DIR-605L Wireless N 300 Cloud Router. To clarify on the term, a Cloud Router essentially lets you access and manage the router over the Internet.
Pros:
- Easy to use and configure
- Remote management
- Affordable
Cons:
- No Gigabit Ethernet

D-Link DIR-605L Cloud Router review
The D-Link DIR-605L Cloud Router is a very simple device. It only uses the more congested 2.4GHz band, only has Fast Ethernet ports instead of the faster Gigabit Ethernet ports and doesn't have a USB port to share printers and storage on your network.

Nice Product
Ordered this router to use in concert with my wifi blue ray player. Works perfectly. Though the packaged instructions didn't work for me, I was able to set up at the Dlink website pretty simply. My house isn't exactly huge, but there are no dead signal areas.

Another cool setting is the notifications & there are settings which allow you to be notified via email when either of the following occurs: (a) a new device connects to your router (b) a device FAILS to connect to your router & (c) new firmware is available. C is checked on by default.

- Next to all the connected devices I mentioned theres an iPhone style switch that allows you to block the internet connection to that device despite it knowing the password to the wifi signal etc.

worst router that i ever had
i wanna give 0 starts but there is no option....because it doesn't have the basic feature of DoS (Denial-of-service) Attack Prevention which i came to know that its an basic feature that one should have in router..

Descent router
I was looking for a basic router to have wifi in my townhome. What attracted me was the larger higher gain antennas. the Wifi is strong throughtout my house and setup was under 10 minutes. I didn't try any of the iphone apps that came with it. Nice router and the price was lower than all the others.

Great bang for your buck
This is a great little router. The setup up is very straight forward even for novice users. The range is also great. We live in a large condo and we get excellent signal all throughout the place, even with all the concrete walls.Don't be fooled by the price point, this is an outstanding device.

Big-time set-up hassles
I don't know how long this router sat on the shelf, but as it turns out the firmware was 2 version out-of-date and the router would not connect to the internet until a firmware update was performed.
