Did everything I needed it to do!

The Hub was bought to replace an aging linksys hub that I had and works great. It has fast pass through bandwidth even when it's running at 100Mb which was what my old hub ran at but this device is about 10X faster. I cant explain why but it just works better.

Great Switch for Small Spaces

- Price at time of review(?

+ Small form factor

- Obnoxiously large power brick

Works as intended

I ordered this unit to split one cable on my gigabit network to feed my PS3, for streaming, and my gaming PC. Unit is quiet and works fine, it runs cool. Only minor complaint is that the blinking lights indicating traffic are a bit bright and distracting. Overall a very good buy.

It just works! Plug into any port from your WiFi Router and expand your number of ports for 4 additional CAT 6 hardwired devices. I have mine connected to my Apple Airport Extreme because I ran out of ports to hardwire all of my devices in my living room.

Commercial grade, works great

We have a bunch of these deployed over an animation studio, wired with cat6. I wouldn't put more than 4 machine on a single cat6 line - I think the 8 port is probably too much traffic, but that's just gut-instict, so we decided to use more of the 5 ports to distribute the load.

Very simple and sturdy

Having bought 3 of these now. The nice metal case complete with 5 ports each providing gigabyte output is exceptional. Would recommend to anyone that needs a simple network switch.

Networking

Great value for money. It has replaced our router for networking our shop epos systems and pdq. Works much faster than the router and no drops outs causing crashes. It has speeded everything up nicely, discreet heavy duty metal casing, highly recommend.

Plug it in and forget it.

We needed a few of these during a network upgrade since our new core switches would only support 1Gb and we had some old 10Mb and 100Mb equipment still in operation. These worked perfectly. Plug in the powersupply, then run cables, that's it.

Just plug it in and it's done

Works great and runs cool to the touch. I remember someone saying it ran hot, but it is cold to the touch. Got a VOIP phone, a computer, and a Lantronix print server plugged into it. No problems at all. I'm thinking about purchasing another one of these units for the other end of the building.
