Crysis 3

Most self-respecting FPS fans are more than well-acquainted with Crytek's shooters series, Crysis, which spawned from the company's famous action game, Far Cry (a franchise that's been handed over to Ubisoft Montreal).

Visually impressive as expected; levels are well-designed; solid multiplayer

Certain aspects of the single-player game make things less challenging; AI bugs; story's underwhelming; generally less fun than Crysis and Crysis 2

Crysis 3 Review

Crysis 3 is a bit of a combo of its two predecessors. The series hallmark, the beautiful visuals, are back and better than ever, at least in the single-player campaign. The nanosuit has also returned with "Prophet" inside, the team leader from the first game who assisted the protagonist, Nomad.

● Probably the best visuals possible on an Xbox 360 ● Interesting protagonist ● The nanosuit is as fun as ever; and now you get a bow

● Short campaign ● Multiplayer doesn't have the same visual charm as single-player ● The series mythology isn't explained particularly well to newcomers

Crysis 3

The alien Ceph - so determined to take over the planet in previous Crysis games - seem to have retreated underground. But the nefarious CELL Corporation isn't taking any chances.

+ Wonderfully crisp and colorful visuals; plenty of satisfying ways to dish out death, + Exceptional online multiplayer modes, maps, and features, especially the new Hunter Mode

? Why do so many CELL soldiers have the same voice

Crysis 3 is a thrilling hunt through the ravaged streets of New York (review)

The nanosuit is a technical masterpiece. It bonds with the user on a genetic level, giving you the power to augment your strength, protect yourself with extra armor, or turn you invisible with its cloaking capabilities.

Crytek had a good reason to prominently feature the Predator Bow on the cover of Crysis 3; It's a permanent fixture in your arsenal - even if you wanted to, you can't swap it out with something else; And with so many ways to customize it, the bow is the most versatile weapon you'll wield.

Crysis 3′s multiplayer modes includes all the usual nuts and bolts you see in most FPS games today; Variants on capture-the-flag, king-of-the-hill, domination, and team deathmatch outnumber the few new gameplay types.

Crysis 3 Review

Ken tackles the console version of Crysis 3 and finds out if it indeed is inferior to its PC counterpart. Oh also fun.

+ Hunter mode; + Visuals are stunning; + The bow is awesome

The bow also breaks the game; Campaign is a snore fest; Atrocious enemy AI; Series feels like it is regressing

Crysis 3 Review

There are aliens out there in the chin-high foliage. You hear the rustling and glimpse a black carapace between blades of grass, but you can't tell if you're being stalked by a single grotesque beast, or a horde of them.

Beautiful visuals that present a unique mix of the natural and the industrial; Each weapon; including the new bow; is a pleasure to shoot; Open levels and nanosuit powers provide combat flexibility; Entertaining multiplayer modes

Remarkably easy; all the way to the end; Lacks the standout battles of earlier games in the series; AI is easily exploited

Crysis 3 PC Review

Was anyone really dying for a third game in the Crysis series? Sure, the first game had some next-level visuals and FPS combat in wide, open environments, but the second game narrowed that down and took Crysis down the path of the more traditional, linear games set along narrow paths that we usually...

Crysis 3 Review

Crytek has crafted a great game with Crysis 3, one that has a satisfying end for the trilogy, but its lack of breathtaking set-pieces means that it's an even more soulless version of Crysis 2.

Crysis 3 Review

It would be rude to say that " Crysis 3 " is ‘all show, and no go.' It's not far off though. Even on the 360, this is a staggeringly beautiful game, with delicious artwork and design throughout.

Crysis 3

Crysis 3 a spectacular entertaining experience. Crysis 3 launches us back in to the much anticipated world of Nanosuit combat once again, with plenty of battles, bad ass aliens and fun as hell weapons.
