First-person shooter fans must feel pretty darn lucky lately. In a six-month span that started with Medal of Honor , there have been no fewer than six high caliber releases. Somehow, EA managed to lay claim to three of those games (as a publisher).

If you play first-person shooters on your PC, the very mention of the original Crysis brings to mind lush jungle beauty brought to life by a graphics engine so impressive and flexible that it remains the visual benchmark to which all other PC games are held.

Crysis has finally arrived on consoles, albeit starting with the sequel to the game that had PC gamers asking computer store salespeople, "yeah, but will it run Crysis?" The good news is that the Xbox 360 does indeed run Crysis 2, and, in fact, it's easily one of the best looking games to ever...

Crysis 2 has exceeded any and all expectations place on the title and its developer. It's clear that Crytek set out to create an immersive and truly memorable experience. But will it run Crysis? A question that has plagued PC gamers since the release of the original Crysis game. Crysis was a monolith of PC code, a game that taxed even the most overclocked, overpriced, overhyped gaming computers.

I've held off writing anything about Crysis 2 until I'd completed it 100%. I was hesitant because it's so pretty at times it's easy to get carried away and lose sight of the fact that games are meant to be played, not gawped at.
