F.E.A.R. 3

hit the store shelves back in 2005, its combination of creepy atmosphere, conspiracy-flavored story line, cagey enemy AI, and innovative, time-warping weapons helped it stand out from an overcrowded PC shooter marketplace.

F.3.A.R.

It takes a lot to stick out in the crowded shooter genre these days. In the case of F.E.A.R. 3 (note, I refuse to call it F.3.A.R as the game's logo suggests I do), the latest in the long running supernatural shooter series from Warner Bros; it's not the mechanics, those are about as standard as...

Crysis 2 Review

If you're a PC gamer, the Crysis series needs no introduction. If not, you can also play a console version, but that's like riding a cycle with training wheels and a little boy bell. I'm not a console hater, per se, but I do hate it when a great FPS game is "simplified" for console gamers.

Neat first-person presentation; Great background score; Pretty good campaign

Suffers from "console simplification; PC graphics should have been better; and releasing a DX11 patch five months late doesn't help

Superb game for first-person shooter

The programmers of Crysis 2 added at least two critical elements missing from most other first person shooter games--the ability to fire from a...

Superb first-person shooter with excellent musical score; audio and decent storyline

Minor glitch in one or two scenes where a gun disappears from a character's hand

Incredible

You can play this game without playing the first and not miss much story, if any. This game isn't quite as good as the first in my opinion, but it comes dang close, and is an excellent game by itself.

Absolutely gorgeous game (with dx11 and high res mods); One of the best looking games out there, second only to The Witcher 2 (and even then, that's debatable); The gameplay is much more fluid than the first.

The story is incredibly hard to follow; With so much action going on it was easy to miss important plot information; (or if you are busy ogling at the graphics, as I was) Which is why I had to read an article on Wikipedia to fully understand what went on.

Nice graphics, but really short

While the story was good and graphics amazing, this game was finished in 17 hours, and I was exploring during the whole game finding the secret spots along the way. I was on the average setting, and even died quite alot as I had never played Crysis before and was getting used to what the suit and...

F.3.A.R. Review

It's 2011, and FEAR 3 is relying on the same scare tactics that the original game did back in 2005. Shadows of ominous-looking creatures flit about your peripheral vision, harrowing screams ring out from an unknown source, and every now and again Alma - the disturbing little girl at the heart of the...

I'm only giving this 2 points, 2 above the lowest score, because the game works. But apart from that there is really nothing positive to say. I've picked it up during the WB Humble Bundle and can say that I am damn lucky not having to pay the full price for this garbage.
