This card certainly sounds better than ANY on-the-motherboard, built in sound card that I've ever heard. A must have upgrade for me, a long time Sound Blaster fan.

So much to do with this card, sound is amazing,used mostly for gaming on P.C,Battlefield and Diablo 3 sound great.

I didn't think it would be that much of an improvement over onboard sound from my Asus crosshair v formula z mobo but I was so wrong. I love it. I bought it because since Windows 10 getting 5.1 surround sound has been such a nightmare.

Easy to setup sound quality is amazing. I haven't used the supplied Mic as I have a external studio mic. If I had to fault the card I would have to say disappointing it only lights up in Red… Yeah I got over it quickly.

I've always used Creative Labs in my computers and this one sure takes the prize! The sound!!! WOW!!! Crisp, clear deep bass, my CD's and movies never sounded so good! This is by far the best sound card Creative Labs has made! I highly recommend it.

Was hesitant about buying, because of a lot of people saying they couldn't here a difference between this card and quot;onboard audioquot; . I noticed a big difference immediately! Everything is sharper, deeper and just sounds better all the way round. Would definitely recommend.

Makes a huge difference over using on-board sound, whether listening via headphones or speakers. Did require some initial sound balancing and tweaking though, using the provided software.

Creative Labs recently sent us over one of their new Sound Blaster Z sound cards. The Sound Blaster Z is the entry-level in their latest sound card line and we were very excited to review it, given the sometimes controversial outlook on discrete sound cards by gamers.
