"Perfect"

Easy to setup sound quality is amazing. I haven't used the supplied Mic as I have a external studio mic. If I had to fault the card I would have to say disappointing it only lights up in Red… Yeah I got over it quickly.

Thought the audio from my motherboard was good enough but thought I'd give this a try - Just sounds AMAZING!! Not using super expensive speakers either (Harman kardon soundsticks). You can hear individual instruments where I couldn't before and the bass is fantastic. A must have for music fans!!

Sounds really good hooked to AVR

Replaced my dead Auzentech X-Fi Forte and I was very skeptical of the SQ this card would provide. I was pleasantly surprised by how awesome this card sounds when dialed in! Even better that Windows 10 actually recognizes it and the drivers work (Auzentech required 3rd party drivers but still sounded...

A good sound card but has a few issues Creative needs to fix

Being a gamer and a bit of an audiophile, I love the sound quality produced by the Blaster Z. I would have given it 5 stars but the drivers & software could use some updating/improvement, and I had to turn off the speed shift technology (SST) features of my rig as a work-around because it was...

Noticeable difference from quot;onboard audioquot;

Was hesitant about buying, because of a lot of people saying they couldn't here a difference between this card and quot;onboard audioquot; . I noticed a big difference immediately! Everything is sharper, deeper and just sounds better all the way round. Would definitely recommend.

Clarity

Very good performance to price ratio. Very pleased with ease of setup and features. Good speakers will benefit from a sound card.

good clear definition from my setup; Good price to features ratio

Red led light; if you don't want your box lit up

All Hype

I bought this card because Win 10 wouldn't let me run all the sound software that came with my MB and I figured it seems to be modern and very popular but now I realize it's popularity is probably ONLY due to their marketing.

Nice to look at; Pretty gold connector jacks; Great marketing team; Pushes extremely loud and decently clean sound out to headphones and speakers

Yes, that red light is obnoxiously bright; Loud popping through outputs when powering on/off PC; The control panel is extremely awkward; Only one audio stream in, only one out at a time (but we should know that from the description); Latency on the microphone is horrific and unpredictable

Awesome!!!

I didn't think it would be that much of an improvement over onboard sound from my Asus crosshair v formula z mobo but I was so wrong. I love it. I bought it because since Windows 10 getting 5.1 surround sound has been such a nightmare.
