"Crash Team Racing is now receiving a full-on Remaster HD!"

Just like Crash & Spyro Trilogy, CTR or Crash Team Racing "Nitro-Fueled" for its refreshed title is back for an overall modern, remake from the ground up, while retaining its original appearance from the 1999 version.

No Rust On This Ride

As we wait to see if Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon will return in new games, Activision remains focused on their past. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is another successful remaster that melds the classic gameplay from Naughty Dog's original 1999 release with the latest in modern visuals.

Activision PlayStation 4 Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled PS4 CTR review

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled deserves its moment in the spotlight. Now that the game can be played online in addition to local multiplayer, there’s no excuse not to test your mettle against others.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Review

After almost twenty years, three console cycles, and two overshadowed sequels, Crash Team Racing is back. With Activision's recent Crash Bandicoot and Spyro remakes having been a romping success, it was only a matter of time before we saw this stone cold classic back out on the track with a fresh...

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Review

If you'd asked me a couple of years ago, I'd have guessed there'd be few people that love Crash Bandicoot as much as myself. As I write this, licensed Crash socks warm my feet and plastic recreations of the iconic character adorn my desk.

Looks smashing; sounds rocking; Easy to learn; hard to master; Faithful recreation; Added personality

Limited custom settings; Menu restyling

I grew up a Sony kid. Crash Team Racing was one of the first games I owned. Beenox made CTR:NF everything I'd hope it be and more. The tracks are beautiful, there's tons of ways to customize your racers, the characters are balanced, there's online play... You name it.

Bandicoots, start your engines.

The monetization of nostalgia is nothing new, but the process seems to have accelerated in this current generation of consoles. HD remasters and "built-from-the-ground-up" remakes litter store shelves, and we're invariably delighted to lap up these colorful reminders of our gaming past.

Crash Team Racing feels as great--and as deep--as ever; Welcome touches modernize the game where needed without changing the fundamentals; Extensive; diverse; and beautiful tracks and Battle arenas to make the fun last longer; An array of single- and multiplayer modes keep things fresh regardless of...

Some severe difficulty spikes in Adventure mode can be frustrating; Handling is initially hard to grasp; especially for newcomers

Activision PlayStation 4 Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled PS4 CTR review

Difficulty, memorable track design, and addictive power-slide mechanic make it a kart racer more than worth playing.
