A 16GB memory stick that uses USB 3.0 transfers a lot faster than a normal USB 2.0

This is the corsair Flash Voyager USB 3.0 16GB memory stick, I purchased this because I wanted a new memory stick and I figured that I might as well buy a USB 3.0 one. I picked this up for around £25 which from what I gathered is around £8 more than a USB 2.0 memory stick of the same capacity.

This was purchased for our daughters new laptop for backing up data. I read quite a few reviews before purchasing this product and it lives up to what other reviews have stated on competing sights Newegg, etc... If you're looking for a durable usb drive that's well constructed check this one out.

Fabulous, as long as it works

I have several memory sticks from this company. Fast, reliable, value for money. So I bought another one. After one year, the usb connector bent for no apprarent reason (no extra force used to insert into port etc). I emailed Dabs. Was this a problem or damage? I waited. I emailed again.

Corsair Flash Voyager 32gb Review

Corsair are best known amongst the enthusiast community for their high performance gaming memory, the Dominator series. However, today we will be looking at something with a very different purpose, in the form of a USB flash drive.

Corsair Flash Voyager 32GB (Review)

Flash memory is falling in price faster than Michael Jackson's bank account to a point where you can now economically replace your standard mechanical computer hard drive with solid state drives (SSD).

unreliable USB connection after 3 to 4 months

At first I was really happy with this drive. It was fast. There was no problem loading it with all the files I wanted to store and bring back and forth with me from home to work. With 16GB it should have lasted me for years.

16GB Corsair Flash Voyager GT Review

A few weeks ago we reviewed Corsair's giant 32GB Flash Voyager USB thumbdrive and found it, well, pretty good. Performance was average, but the sheer size, reasonable price, and durability of Corsair's product made it stand out.

Durable rugged body; comes with encryption software

Not very fast for a premium priced "high performance" drive

It may not be quite as Bear Grylls-proof as Corsair's Survivor range, but the Voyager still provides a good degree of physical protection without having to make compromises in other areas.

Just because you want a bit of extra protection for your files doesn't mean you need a USB stick that can survive three weeks of abuse in the Amazon; Don't get us wrong – the shock- and water-proof Voyager is no shrinking violet, but by keeping the rugged credentials to sensible levels the Voyager...

While the Voyager's semi-ruggedness appeals for the most part, there are some flaws; The rubber cap that protects the USB connector isn't attached to the main body in any way, making it easy to lose.

Corsair Flash Voyager (16GB)

Corsair's ruggedised stick just got bigger.

Will withstand normal drops and knocks; Fast transfer speed; Huge capacity

Lid can be easily lost
