Corsair addresses one of the missing features of the TX Series by adding modular cabling.

Corsair is continually evolving their lineup of power supplies. Today, I'm looking at one of their latest evolutions to the TX series - the new modular TX750M model. Let's find out if the move to modularity in this series was a good one.

Length:: 0:54 Mins A recent video card upgrade had the unintended consequence of forcing a concurrent power supply unit (PSU) upgrade when I discovered the OEM PSU in an Asus desktop did not have the required 6-in PCIe power plug needed to run the new card.

I bought this PSU for my 2008 computer build (first build I did). The 750w was overkill for that build, but I wanted something that I could upgrade parts and not need to change out. It's been 7 years and it's still going strong.

Good quality PSU at a decent price with a decent warranty. Fitted no problems, much quieter than the old unbranded PSU it replaced. Probably not getting much of a work out, powering a mildly overclocked i5 6600k and a GTX1080 with ease.

Well constructed, inspires confidence. Modular design leaves pc case less cluttered. Quiet in operation. Working well so far.

The Corsair TX750W performed well in the testing. The rails were solid and really did not fluctuate more than .02 volts on the 12v, 3.3v, and 5.0v lines. Usually you see some fluctuation.
