Corsair has broken barriers with the 12,000 DPI offered in its M65 Pro RGB. If not for the complicated nature of the software and slightly forward placement of the side buttons, we feel this could have been the complete package deal.

Corsair Gaming M65 Pro RGB Mouse

Ultimately, Corsair has done so many things right with the M65 Pro RGB. The new 12,000 dpi optical sensor is truly cutting-edge and gaming-grade, and the big, slick glide pads, low profile shape, and fast switches mean nothing's going to slow you down when it comes to performance.

Ultra-fast optical gaming sensor; extensive lighting effects; pro styling; very competitive price

Low, wide stance isn't ideal for casual use; the small thumb buttons need updating; odd DPI indicator

Corsair M65 Pro RGB

The Corsair M65 Pro RGB is a remarkable gaming mouse that's carefully tailored for first-person shooters. It fuses a solid aluminium frame with a highly responsive sensor, and even comes with a unique ‘Sniper' button that neatly lowers the DPI while pressed.

Responsive sensor; Useful sniper button; Great build quality; Looks great

Not ideal for flick shots; Non-removable cable; Surface can build up sweat

Corsair's old M60 mouse (and its subsequent, tweaked, evolutions) has been a stalwart, wired gaming mouse for a long time. Reminiscent of hypercars, it looks as though panels have been affixed to a solid, aluminium frame with everything exposed at the end like a high-performance exhaust.

Solid; Fingertip control; Lightweight; Configurable software and balance; Pretty lights

Scroll wheel doesn't freewheel much; Right-handed only

If a lightweight, customizable, RGB-lit mouse with exceptional build quality is what you are after, then the Corsair M65 PRO RGB is definitely worth considering.

12,000 DPI adjustable optical sensor; RGB lighting; Integrated weight adjustment system; Corsair Utility Engine; Solid Construction

No carrying case for unused weights; Side panel corner may bother some users; Red Sniper button

This mouse is great for gaming, the calibration is amazing and it is extremely durable so if it falls off your desk don't worry. The mouse has extra large PTFE glide pads so it can move well.Nothing big, but it would be good if it had a little carrying case.

extremely durable; great calibration; advanced weight tuning system; 12000 DPI optical sensor

side panel corner may bother some users; No carrying case

terrible fancy mouse, great when it works

Device Not Detected. ICUE software has stopped working. Sometimes it does not boot up. It is a fancy mouse and when it works it is great , but too much headache with it. Returned to B and H. Thank god they are humble and helpful people.

great feel

I used to only buy one brand of mouse for gaming 20+ years and I'm glad I took the recommendation to try something new. I love the feel and even after an hour of use, my hands feel no strain. I haven't fully used the buttons to change sensitivity but its a nice capability to use in the future.
