Lighting is a big let down

We recently got the chance to take a look at Corsair's new M65 PRO RGB gaming mouse. Retailing for $59.99, the M65 PRO RGB has some very gamer-centric features that goes to illustrate exactly how Corsair has listened to fans out there when designing this latest gaming mouse.

Corsair has broken barriers with the 12,000 DPI offered in its M65 Pro RGB. If not for the complicated nature of the software and slightly forward placement of the side buttons, we feel this could have been the complete package deal.

The reasons we've limited ourselves to a brief test here today is due to the close relationship between the M65 and M65 PRO RGB. Aside from Corsair pairing the new PRO variant with a new sensor, there is no striking differences between the two models.

Today, we're taking a look at a new gaming mouse from Corsair that's not really all that new. Welcome the M65 PRO RGB, a refreshed M65 RGB with a new tracking sensor and some other small cosmetic changes.

Ultimately, Corsair has done so many things right with the M65 Pro RGB. The new 12,000 dpi optical sensor is truly cutting-edge and gaming-grade, and the big, slick glide pads, low profile shape, and fast switches mean nothing's going to slow you down when it comes to performance.

This Scimitar has two sharp points: Corsair's very good software, and some solid ergonomic details. But as in any MMO mouse, its side buttons are tightly packed, perhaps not to everyone's liking.
