There's no secret that we like our tech gear at Ausdroid and when you spend as much time in front of a PC as we do it's more than just a luxury to have good quality gear, it's a necessity.

PC gaming lives at the cutting edge, but let's face it, sometimes it's nice to kick back on the couch to enjoy a game. Not long ago, we were stuck with controllers or draping long wires across our floors, but as technology has advanced, those compromises are becoming a thing of the past.

I was looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard and came across this at microcenter. After realizing there were not many options, I purchased this after confirming the return policy. I updated the keyboard (need icue software), and used it for a day. I immediately fell in love with it.

There have been two major changes to the way that gaming works that have enabled it to be freed from the office or a dark corner of the bedroom and into the lounge as a viable gaming choice.

And here's the clincher: The price ain't too bad either. If we assume that the standard asking price for a wired, single-color backlit keyboard these days is around $70 to 80, Corsair asking $110 (currently $100 on Amazon ) for a wireless version seems surprisingly reasonable.
