Sometimes I have a trouble with the keyboard (the software says there's a problem with the firmware, and I need to restart my computer), but it's a good gaming keyboard.
5 Stars. Because I did purchase a second one for my wife. she loved it as well, I Got it for 69.99 I didn't know what to expect when I got this. First thing I looked at was the RBG functions. They are all on board and very easy to customize. No software needed.
-Feels great for typing on, I personally enjoy this keyboard, -Keys are quiet ! I would say, -RBG controls are all ONBOARD, no software needed, -RBG color flow is very decent; I can imagine the $200 keyboards are smoother and more fancy..; but never the less, I bought two of these.
NO CONS, Nothing that I can really consider to be a problem; for this price range, -You sacrifice rubber wrist pads for color RBG.; at this price point, -If you are used to the Logitech rotary volume.; well this doesn't have it., -No shortcut key for the calc.
This keyboard will permanently replace the Hewlett-Packard keyboard that cam with my Hewlett-Packard Envy. Why the
The backlit keyboard is very nice and very handy for me, since I often work in a darkened room; The fact that I can change the color scheme of the backlighting is an extra bonus
The multi-media control keys aren't backlit, so I'd still have to break out my flashlight to find those in a darkened room; But, that's a minor detail and I won't deduct an egg for just that
the corsair K55 is a must for anyone who's on a tight budget for a gaming keyboard, coming in at just 60, (corsair prices it at 50, but seeing as corsair charges 6.73 for most likely slow delivery, i was fine with paying an extra 3 for the keyboard as i knew it would come fairly quick) the K55...
Packaging The Corsair K55 RGB comes in a pretty attractive looking packaging that gives it a premium appearance just like the rest of Corsair's gaming keyboards. At the back of the box, you'll find the K55 with its features highlighted for the end users to easily navigate through before getting the...
Decent RGB lightings despite of being a rubber dome switch keyboard; Easily accessible media keys; Dedicated macro keys with on-the-fly macro recording function; Very well optimized key matrix for gaming
Rather costly for a rubber dome switch gaming keyboard; Glossy surface on the top of the keyboard is highly prone to scratches; fingerprints; dust and other kind of stains; Could really use rubber pads on the keyboard feet
