Linksys's streamlined WAG160N-UK looks considerably better than most routers. It's easy to set up using the CD installation wizard, prompting us to enter the details of our ADSL account and then to secure our network. Warnings appear if you try to continue with an unsecured wireless network.

With its latest range of routers, the Linksys design department appears to have thrown away the rule book. The Linksys WAG160N and its sister devices now sport a curvy, sleek, lounge-friendly appearance, quite unlike their boxy predecessors.

Previous Linksys routers weren't the most aesthetically pleasing, but this new model is something you'll want to have out on display.
