I love 1881 for it's sharp Freesia, almost detergent beginning. The Freesia steps, ever so defiantly, into the background like a woman wearing vivid, vivacious red dress to a funeral.

Utterly feminine. I really love this perfume for everyday use. I use 2 sprays and it lasts the whole day. It starts powdery and floral (jasmine, rose, orange blossom, violet) and sweet and ends musky. The bottle is beautiful and the price is amazing. This is a unique, classic, elegant fragrance.

Bought for me! This perfume has been around for a long time and its a classic, its a clean scent which I prefer, its usually a good price even for the 100ml size, will continue to buy as long as its around which I hope is always.

This scent has been out for ages. I can remember my cousin having this about 17 years ago. It was quite expensive back then and the kind of scent that she used to use sparingly. After all on the wage that she was on then it was probably more a luxury than anything.

One of my favourite perfumes - bought this as it was just under half price, so a bargain all around.
