Excellent binoculars for the price. Jupiter's moons are very clear when mounted on a decent tripod There seems to be some confusion about the tripod adapter. The description is contradictory as says in one place that there should be an adapter but in "what's in the box" it only says binoculars and...

I mounted these 25x70s on a hefty tripod early this morning because Jupiter shone down from a perfect spot in my apt. grounds. I expected to see more; he was really so bright the moons were lost in the glare.

I had to come to my senses when first looking through these at a dark sight. The performance was more than good; it was awesome! For the "price point" it seems that some miracle of coincidence or intervention sent me the best set Celestron in China ever made---and I got 'em!

Very poor, impossible to achieve a clear image. Returned one pair that were faulty, second pair were no better.

These are good, but not great binoculars. The clarity and fine detail seem better to me in the 20 X 80 version of this binocular. That being said, they are pretty good. Don't expect to see DSO's and faint nebulae through these, but for the large majority fairly large and bright objects in the night...

The highest practical power with a wide angle field of view.

My husband uses these a lot, he loves them.

Love these Binoculars..Yes they are a bit large,but that's to be expected considering the objective lens size. Great for star gazing and plane watching.

Easy to Use; Excellent in Low Light

I wanted high power binoculars with an attachment for a tripod for casual astronomy. This item has offered good quality optics as well as the mounting, and a perfectly adequate case was included. I will also use them for the usual terrestrial pursuits.

These binoculars are well made, the barrels seem the be aluminum with s rubber coating,the frame is also metal. The collimation was good on the set I received and the lenses seem to be clear and made from glass no visiable marks or bad spots in the lenses.
