Perfect for beginner, but will use throughout all aspects of stargazing.

My only problem, and not a criticsm of the binoculars themselves, is getting a stable image. I build a small bracket that slots between the mount and the tripod and is fixed to one lense tube with velcro. Perfectly stable. I am staggered at the clarity and number of objects I can see.
Pros:
  • light
  • easy to carry
  • price
  • portability

Nice binoculars for the amateur astronomer

I purchased the binoculars to help find night sky objects in a suburban area of Portland, OR. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the binoculars specifically the optical clarity and light gathering ability as compared to my Nikon Monarch 10x42 binoculars.

Excellent for amateurs!

My binoculars arrived last week and I couldn't wait to get out and look at the night sky with them. So many stars! They are relatively light and easy to steady given the size, I haven't used them with a tripod yet but will do so for focusing on particular objects e.g. andromeda.

Haven't had much time with it at the moment but the very little time I spent after setting up the device I enjoyed every moment. Am not a pro on this issue but it excellent quality. A lot more can be said but no time to give further comment. I will recommend this to anyone that's all for now.

It's fine, no assembly required

It's fine, no assembly required. The tripod adapter that came with it was inferior and put the binoculars at risk of falling off a tripod.

Very Good, room for improvement

These binoculars can make you say WOW when you 1st see them and when you look threw them. I would have given them a 5 star rating except for two things that could easily be corrected even though it would increase the price a little.

Great price decent binoculars

I haven't owned these for very long but what a great deal. Not sure why they are so inexpensive, as others have stated. They are a little heavy and i plan on using a monopod or tripod when I head out to Yellowstone.
