Great Scope

I purchased this telescope because I am not that knowledgeable about the position of some of the objects in the night sky that I wanted to see. My old telescope was hard to observe thru and very frustrating so I wanted an easier observing tool.
Pros:
  • Compact
  • Lightweight
  • Strong Construction

Good Telescope for money

This is a good telescope for money. It is light & have a stable mount. The mounted wedge is good for astrophotography, but not at the telescope's native focal lenght. Perhaps a piggy back DSLR will able to take a good astrophotography.
Pros:
  • Compact
  • light
Cons:
  • Aperature small
  • Maksutov cassegrain design not as flexible as schmidt cassegrain

Great telescope, terrible software, no accessories.

I am happy my husband and I purchased this for our introduction into the hobby. The tripod is sturdy and well-made. The telescope itself is simply amazing. The included instructions made putting it together and getting it working very easy and took only about an hour.
