I like the gameplay

I like the gameplay, but the story is weak and I dislike how they turn Erika (the transgender waitress) into a joke. Normally that would cause me to tell it to go to hell, but since the actual game play is rather addictive and fun I still gave it 3 stars.

totally not what I was expecting. 100% weird

Real oddball game in more ways than one. Kinda wonder how Atlus' marketing team gave the ok for Catherine and if the gamble paid off. I'd say Catherine was made for an even more niche audience than jRPGs.

animated cut scenes; Excellent translation/localization; Intruiguing concept; Great voice acting; Weird; Grabbed it while it was on sale

Story progression is disjointed and hapazard; Feels incoherent sometimes; Game is 95% puzzle 5% social interaction; The horrible loading times make me want to cry; Game is short Even on easy, game quickly gets way difficult way too soon; I couldn't pass the second boss without resorting to a guide

I really enjoyed this game. The story was interesting and the puzzles are challenging. The endings are also well worth multiple replays.

Catherine

Catherine has been creating quite a buzz. Not just because of its semi-questionable launch event (in a gentlemen's club complete with Catherine double-act pole dance; no sheep, though) but because of how interesting it is.

Catherine is a unique tale of love, sheep and building blocks.

Enjoyable game.

I have to say I wasn't expecting such an addictive platform game that this turned out to be. You get a great sense of satisfaction when you finish a stage and you'll need to think quickly as the game gets to the manic end.

Good kinda different

If you dont like dialogue you wont like this game. Its quite a challenging puzzle game which will have you cursing for hours. Ive beat most of it and I must say it is very addicting.

Catherine Review – Domo Arigato, Atlus

There's two distinct aspects of Catherine: The puzzles and the story. When the protagonist, Vincent, is awake, we are presented with the story elements which draw us deeper into the game.

Catherine

Maybe it was the point when Vincent Brooks, Catherine%26rsquo;s protagonist, grew ram horns from the back of his head. Or maybe it was ...

Fun story with multiple endings; Gorgeous anime-style art; Lots of puzzle variation

Getting stumped on Easy setting; Occasional wonky controls; Solving yet another puzzle

Review: Catherine "Love Is Over"Â Edition (Microsoft Xbox 360)

As Atlus Japan's first release for the 360 and PS3, Catherine is something of a big deal. While Atlus of America has been bringing over everything they could get their hands on from other developers, Atlus Japan has mostly kept to the PSP, PS2, DS and Wii, and for the most part, this strategy seemed...
