Cars 3: Driven to Win Review

Cars is a strange franchise. The first film was excellent; a wonderful family film that extolled the virtues of friendship and humility, introducing us to the loveable Mater and, of course, Lightning

Looks just like the films; Includes favourite characters; Plenty of tracks and race modes

Difficulty is far too harsh; Repetitive voice lines

Cars 3: Driven to Win PlayStation 4

I ordered this game for my son as a Christmas gift so I can not comment much on it. I was very happy to find a few good "children" games at a great price online at Target. The ps4 seems to have a slim selection for the younger kids. My son is 5 and has taken over his father's ps4..

Pretty decent.

Compared to the first two Cars games, it's miles better. On it's own merit, it's still a fun racing game, although aimed at kids, but shh.

Brilliant

Fantastic full. For all from ages three to 63! Even grandma loves playing! Such a great fun game. A lot like MarioCart in the battle mode. Love it!!!

I'm in my mum's car, vroom vroom: Cars 3: Driven to Win review

I'm a big animation fan, and I hold a very unpopular opinion: I really like the Cars franchise, and I enjoy Cars 2 more than Pixar's less adored fare, like Monster's University or The Good Dinosaur. Given the source material, it's a given that the Cars series would work as a good racing game.

A nice variety of modes and tracks; Racing mechanics are satisfyingly entertaining; Takedown mode is a blast to play

Rubberbanding in some modes is frustrating; Voice acting is hit-or-miss; No customization options for cars
