I received this camera as a Christmas gift, and I am more than impressed. I have spent years filming and editing videos as a hobby, and until now I have been stuck using cheap handhelds and GoPro cameras.

I shoot primarily music videos and have found this camera to be great for my purposes. It delivers a great image - especially with good lighting and proximity of subject to the camera. The HDMI output is also handy for plugging in field monitors for a better preview.
Best
We use this camera for our church events, services and praise and worship. This is the most professional camera we have used to day. It is perfect for tripod use for services and during outside events running around.
Really good camcorder that fits my needs during editing but it is a bit too pricey for the quality pictorial then I have other cameras in the 5-8k class that performs better. However, very smooth with microphone inputs and sits like a glove in his hand.
Very good camera. It really is a fully professional camera. It has everything you need to satisfy the most demanding videographer in a small package. One thing that most caught my attention was the XRL inputs and cinema mode.
Detachable handle; XLR audio inputs and mic mount; Small form
Lightweight body lends to increased camera shake
In the pro world of videography it's hard to take anything this small too seriously. However, the XA10 is larger than life in terms of features, usability, and quality imaging.
Detachable handle; XLR audio inputs and mic mount; Small form makes it extremely portable
Lightweight body lends to increased camera shake
For low budget, this is a great camera. Very professional product. Was designed for independent producers, I recommend for multimedia journalists, also if you are doing documentaries, or independent films/shows.
This thing blows away expensive pro cameras from a couple years back. The interface is a little clunky for sure, but it offers an incredible amount of control. I couldn't believe it has waveforms and focus peaking. Love that it's small and black, so it's not drawing any attention to itself.
Since all products are a compromise of some sort (price vs. size vs. weight vs. ruggedness vs ) the trick when buying a complex product is to determine if the designers made the right compromises, i.e. they gave up features that aren't very important to you and they preserved the features that are.
