Only had this camera for a few days but initial reactions are that it is great! The quality of the pictures are amazing, so clear even on full zoom, and the HD video is brilliant - the fact that you can zoom while you are shooting a video is something I have never seen before on a camera.
Pros:
- Easy to use
- Auto function is amazing
- Fairly small
- so can fit in pocket
- The video recorder has a zoom
- Amazing video recording quality
- Amazing build quality
- Supported a 16GB memory card
Cons:
- The flash is weak for night shots
- but this is purely my opinion
- The video zoom is kind of loud
- and you can hear it when you do video recording
- which is a put off

Great camera
This is the best camera that I have ever had. I received it as a birthday present a year ago, and it still works wonderfully. It is 14.1MP with a rechargeable lithium battery pack that lasts for a long time between charges.

worked for me
I used this camera while deployed to Iraq and it held up very well with all of the sand, it scratches easily so just be careful with it. it uses a battery pack, you can buy an off brand maker and the batteries work just as well as the cannon batteries for 1/3 of the price, a camera case is a must...
Pros:
- good weight
- clear pictures
- the auto feature is very nice
- looks nice and is a good size
- i am very happy with the camera
Cons:
- videos are in Quicken format instead of .wmv or .avi
- i had issues trying to put a slideshow together using windows live moviemaker
- the quality was very good but i had to convert it to a file type that windows could recognize
- if you just wanted to have a single video you would be good to go,...

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS
I think it almost has same design with Panasonic Lumix TZ10. This camera has 14.1 megapixel sensor, excellent 14X optical zoom image, and also equipped with good and wide angle lens. This camera is made for next version of SX200 IS.

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS
have owned and operated Canon SX 210 IS for approx. 1 year. Noted marked color distortions with inside photos...which must be adjusted manually to get close to accurate colors...leaving camera in AUTO or EASY will result in inaccurate colors not only inside, but also outside, in natural light.
Pros:
- optical zoom very good..

- color distortions a problem

Unlike the Ixus range, which is a fairly tight grouping of mid-range compacts, a PowerShot can be anything from the A490 (now down to just £80 and no worse for it) to the breath-taking DSLR-threatening Canon G11, which costs nearly £400.

Best camera
This is my fist digital camera and i felt its best one... excellent zoom and more reliable. Only issue I felt is when you want flash it will open in the place where you hold at the top.. except this ... its one of the best camera

This Canon Powershot didital camera os a good bargain .
I recieved my Canon Powershot Digital camera for Valentines day this year and have really enjoyed using it. It is light and compact enough to carry in my purse so I always have it with me...no more missing great shots. The only problem I am having with it is loading my pics. onto my computer.

great buy
need to buy a new camera due to mine drowning in my purse. this is a great camera, its really easy to use and still small enough to fit into my pocket.
