Wish list of Features!
When I was researching cameras I knew I wasn't ready for a DSLR, but I was looking for something that wasn't bulky but had a pretty good opitcal zoom. The SX210 IS was just about to release and I started looking into it and it seemed perfect for me and did everything that I was looking for.
Pros:
- Tons of features in a small more compact camera 14x Optical Zoom
Cons:
- Flash is in an odd spot

Almost perfect
Indoor no flash takes great pictures but using flash produce poor quality most shots Scene modes do not produce optimum specifications. Instead of using 'child' scene mode to catch shots of active child, use TV and adjust speed.
Pros:
- Good Image Stabilization
- Great Zoom
- Nice Body Color
Cons:
- Low light flash poor
- Macro inconsistent
- Poor Flash

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS
The $349.99, 14.1-megapixel PowerShot SX210 IS packs 14x zoom into a body that's just 1.25 inches thick-you won't find a camera this thin that offers more zoom than the SX210's 392mm.
Pros:
- Sharp images
- 14x optical zoom
- 3-inch LCD is easily viewable in direct sunlight, and shows virtually no motion blur
- Well-designed interface
- Mini-HDMI port
- Stereo audio recording in video mode
Cons:
- Images show noticeable color fringing
- Not suited for low light shooting without a flash
- LCD's 16:9 aspect ratio means black bars around 4:3 images

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS review
A tiny camera with huge zoom. Not the most exciting compact otherwise, though

Canon Powershot SX210 Digital Camera Review
The compact super-zoom market has, seemingly, stagnated over recent years. With the inclusion of feature such as GPS taking the focus away from what should be the main agenda, image quality, improvements in this area have been few and far between, with new iterations in many company lines treading...

Canon Powershot SX210 Digital Camera Review
For its market, the PowerShot SX210 IS does a good job of meeting what most people want from their super-zoom compacts. It produces consistent images in its automatic setting and the results straight out of camera should look pleasing in a 6x4 print.
