worked for me
I used this camera while deployed to Iraq and it held up very well with all of the sand, it scratches easily so just be careful with it. it uses a battery pack, you can buy an off brand maker and the batteries work just as well as the cannon batteries for 1/3 of the price, a camera case is a must...
Pros:
- good weight
- clear pictures
- the auto feature is very nice
- looks nice and is a good size
- i am very happy with the camera
Cons:
- videos are in Quicken format instead of .wmv or .avi
- i had issues trying to put a slideshow together using windows live moviemaker
- the quality was very good but i had to convert it to a file type that windows could recognize

Best camera
This is my fist digital camera and i felt its best one... excellent zoom and more reliable. Only issue I felt is when you want flash it will open in the place where you hold at the top.. except this ... its one of the best camera

Zoom zoom.
This is my second Canon sx2101S. Accidentally ran over the first one before it was 6 months old. And I like it so much that almost two years later I bought one used via Amazon. Since I had a charger, cables, and battery for spares, I figured it would be a good spare camera to have around.

Pros:

- +Tons of features
- +Nice big LCD display
- +Decent battery life
Cons:
- Don't care for design personally
- No optical viewfinder
- No HDMI cable included
- Auto flash fires when it seems like it shouldn't

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS
I think it almost has same design with Panasonic Lumix TZ10. This camera has 14.1 megapixel sensor, excellent 14X optical zoom image, and also equipped with good and wide angle lens. This camera is made for next version of SX200 IS.
