Trophy Compact Gets Spit & Polish
The Canon PowerShot S90 has a permanent place in my bag. As a compact point-and-shoot, the S90 has not only been a powerhouse compact, but also a great substitute slash justification for not carrying around a DSLR.

Canon S95
Buy one, I did, and I already have an S90 from last year which I use extensively. I love the S95's $30 PSC-900 deluxe leather case . My belt slips through it, and then the case holds the S95 on my waist. It's very well made and a custom fit for the S95, with a magnetic catch.

I decided not too long ago that I was interested in purchasing a quality point and shoot so I wouldn't have to lug my DSLR gear around if I wanted to take photos while out and about. After some research (and finding a great pre-Xmas sale on Amazon) I pulled the trigger on the Canon S95.

Great compact camera. Not the same image quality as a DSLR obviously, but very good quality overall. I've used this camera extensively outdoors, on both day hikes and weekend type adventures and found the battery lasted the entire trip taking literally hundreds of photos powering the camera on...

Canon PowerShot S95
I had a beautiful wonderful camera that I saved and saved for and managed to get it at a great price because it was being discontinued, and then after seven months, I lost it and I was devestated and had to save up for another camera yet again, but didn't have the funds to invest in anything really...
