Canon PowerShot S120

The Canon PowerShot S120 is a pocket camera aimed at the demands of enthusiasts; indeed it remains one of the smallest cameras around with a bright lens, full manual control and support for RAW files.

Canon PowerShot S120 Reviews

The Canon PowerShot S120 may not look like much of a camera at first glance. Most thin fixed lens cameras that look like the S120 are models that don't perform at a high level, either in working speed or in terms of image quality.

Very fast performance levels; RAW image quality available in thin camera body yields very good image quality; Lens offers f/1.8 aperture; Touch screen display capabilities make this camera easy to use; Mixture of advanced shooting modes and beginner shooting modes

Price may be a little high; measurement is limited to 5X; Inclusion of a hot shoe would have been helpful; Camera's menu structure could use a redesign for better touch screen performance; Wi-Fi feature is difficult to set up and use

Review Canon Powershot S120 Digital Camera

Review Canon Powershot S120 Digital Camera You could wonder at my bravado in reviewing this tiddler when all it seems to offer is a digicam with moderate specs and little else. Aah! But look further!

Canon generally releases its S range of premium compact cameras at the same time as it updates the G series, and it's no different this year with the introduction of the Canon PowerShot S120 to replace last year's Canon PowerShot S110

Very Disappointed. Poor Image quality.

I am a fan of Canon - especially the S series - however, this newest incarnation is not at all what I expected after reading several reviews. I have an S95 which in my side by side comparison, beat the S120 in terms of color accuracy and sharpness.

Easy to Use; Fast Shutter Speed; Small / Compact

Poor Image Quality; Short Battery Life

Horrible Battery Life

I liked this camera alot. However the battery life when shooting Full HD video is horrible. If you search on the internet you will see loads of complaints regarding battery life issues, yet Canon fails to recognize this problem. Images and effects are great.

Good Low-Light Performance; Nice features/settings; excellent image quality; Bright LCD; Lightweight/Portable; Simple controls/menu; easy to use

Short battery life; poor microphone placement
