Canon PowerShot G7X MKII Digital Camera 20.1MP 1" CMOS Sensor, 4.2x Optical Zoom f/1.8-f/2.8 Lens, Full HD 1080p Video Recording at 60 fps
Good camera overall, albeit expensive. Pros: - Generally good image quality and easy to use. - Small and comfortable to hold, the grip on the right side feels good (if you are right handed).
Canon G7X Mark II Review
- Large sensor
- Wide aperture lens
- Touch-sensitive screen
- Wi-Fi
- Lack of viewfinder
- Short zoom
- Macro focusing is tricky
Awesome compact camera
I tried the Olympus TG-5 for kayak fishing shots, but was disappointed with the image sharpness, inconsistent exposure and low-light capability. After reviewing pics from the G7X II, I decided to buy it and the genuine Canon waterproof housing. What a difference!
Canon is not the same quality
This camera is way beyond poor quality I tried every mode p mode changed the iso put it too auto still got a bad image. I had a canon powershot s90 even before a sd990 much superior it's a shame I am going to return it for a different brand.
I wanted to like this camera.
Now that I have run a few thousand exposures through this camera, I'm not that happy with it. I shoot a lot of close distances and the auto focus can't seem to get it right even with touch screen. It always tries to focus to further points. Very annoying.
Good camera for spouse
I purchased this camera for my wife to use when we travel. She enjoys taking photos of her own, but does not like to use any of my DSLR's because of their size and weight. She wanted something that was small enough to fit in her pocket or a small purse and would take decent photos outdoors and in...
Just a great vlog camra
I got this camera for myself and my girlfriend. And it's totally a great tool to our kit. It's reall easy to use with simple pre set function for when you need a fast set up on the go, but also has the bigger camera options as an addition. Compact and easy to carry around.
Audio is awful and lens errors from the first time I turned it on!
Whilst I like the ease of use etc. the fact that the audio is constantly distorting makes it pretty unusable for me. You cannot turn the microphone input down and you cannot attach a different mic. So I'm forced to use my iPhone to record audio and then sync it up afterwards. Total hassle.
Great little camera
Bought this to supplement a big Canon DSLR. Has many of the same features, very flexible settings, neat swivel screen, feels solid to hold, quick to respond etc. Shoots RAW images as well as JPEG, good results and also very good HD video (no 4K). Controls for speed/aperture/ISO etc easy to access.
Compact and easy to use
Very satisfied with this purchase. Didn't want to lug my 60D around Europe, hence wanted something small and compact. Have thoroughly enjoyed the product as a point and shoot camera.
