I bought this camera for photographing my customers indoors. I need very clear photos that can be enlarged. I tested the camera for several days and realized that it was not suitable for my purposes. The quality of the photo is no better than that taken with a camera phone.
I got this camera for vlogging and to have a compact camera to carry around. It is extremely easy to work and the front facing screen is AWESOME and so convenient. It takes decent photos but perfect clear video, a great price thats affordable makes this camera hard to pass up. I recommend!
Defying expectations, Canon's compact G7 X MkII packs a 20.1MP 1in sensor, which is larger than the competition, and a 24-100mm f/1.8-2.8 zoom lens. While it doesn't quite measure up in the length stakes, the super-wide aperture brings its own advantages.
Then only compact camera you need
Tried other compact cameras always kept coming back to this one.Its got everything you need.No brainer purchase
I have a DSLR with a number of lens for specific purposes so when my Canon SX720 "broke", I wanted a better camera with more features. This camera is outstanding for what it can do. I haven't been able to use all the features but so far I am very satisfied.
Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II Review (Review Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II)
The Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II is a pricey pocket camera with image quality that goes toe-to-toe with much larger models.- Wide aperture zoom lens., 1-inch image sensor., Tilting touch-screen display., Quick autofocus., Raw image capture support., Wi-Fi with NFC.
- No hot shoe or EVF., Edge softness at wide angle., Occasional autofocus misses., Doesn't support 4K video capture., Omits microphone input.
Great camera
I love my new camera. I did lots of research before I chose this model and I'm really glad I took the time. The camera has plenty of functionality which makes it a good step-up from a more basic point and shoot model. Yet it's still small enough to carry around in a small bag.
Satisfied after a long wait and many phone calls
Nice accessory kit with a very popular camera. This was purchased for my 18-year old grand daughter who had looked at reviews and talked to friends who had the camera and gave it a great rating. I selected this package because it was a good price and came with a nice set of accessories.
Compact and easy to use
Very satisfied with this purchase. Didn't want to lug my 60D around Europe, hence wanted something small and compact. Have thoroughly enjoyed the product as a point and shoot camera.
Great little camera
Bought this to supplement a big Canon DSLR. Has many of the same features, very flexible settings, neat swivel screen, feels solid to hold, quick to respond etc. Shoots RAW images as well as JPEG, good results and also very good HD video (no 4K). Controls for speed/aperture/ISO etc easy to access.
