Canon's latest PowerShot G-Series camera, the PowerShot G3 X, is positioned as an alternative to the flagship PowerShot G1X Mark II and G7X models, with which it shares some features.

Canon do three ranges of cameras the IXUS the smallest, next is the PowerShot and finally their DSLR range. However the area between the last two is somewhat grey, this PowerShot is considerably larger in size than a small DSLR.

No problem, my previous Sigma 150-600 is on a D7200 in sharpness of 600mm. Crazy good optics from Canon. Well-built, weatherproof and properly thought out. One of the best compactors in the market for longzoom. Serial photography in raw is a little bit worth and a star in installment.
I do like this one a lot but I dont like the LCD the way its exposed :( why cant you all come out with the same model and dont change none of the features so far just Nothing, But add a Flippy LCD like the G5X. as of now the LCD is more likely to be scratched if your not careful
I'll just mention the biggest drawback that you'll find in my Canon PowerShot G3 X review right out of the gate: If you cannot make yourself pay a nearly four figure price for a fixed lens camera, then you probably will have little desire to consider this camera.
Printers seem to be disposable items these days and the MG7550 is no excption. Essentially after about two years of very light use at home the black ink jet seemed to develop hysteresis and produced a wavy line making it useless for printing bar codes and just about anything else.
The Canon PowerShot G3X is Canon's first big zoom, big sensor compact. Traditional super-zoom cameras have a lot to offer but, their typically small sensor size prompts many buyers to migrate upwards to a DSLR or mirrorless.
