The Perfect Camera

I bought this for my 7 year old grandson, who has fairly extensive camera experience for his age. I had given him my old Canon and it died; so I bought him this one. He loves it. Especially the zoom, which he uses to photograph his puppy. He's taken some amazing photos!
Pros:
  • Easy To Use
  • Fast/accurate auto-focus
  • Good Image Quality
  • Good Image Stabilization
  • Good in Low Light
  • Great Zoom
  • Large Clear LCD
  • Nice Body Color
  • Short Lag Time
  • Small / Compact

I was very excited to finally get this camera after all the wonderful reviews however, when I got it home it would not take a picture? I played with it for a while and got it to snap once but there was a terrible delay.

Canon Powershot A3100 IS: Compact and easy to use

I bought this for a family trip where we wanted to take lots of snapshots and also for photographing documents in family history archives. It cost £99 at John Lewis and we spent an extra £7 on a memory card, and a case. Comparing this model with a similar one bought from Kodak left us impressed.

Pros:
  • Very good image quality and very easy to use
Cons:
  • Quite large and bulky
  • quite washed out colours on images produced

" The canon powershot 12.1 Megapixel Digital Camera is terrific "

I bought the camera for my daughter. She loves it and uses it all the time. She loves to set the timer and then get in a pose and it takes the picture. The pictures are clear. For a small camera, awesome.

Nice Camera for Little Dollars

This camera was a replacement for an older, similar canon camera that my wife used for years until a little sand got in it and basically ruined it. This camera takes great pictures, especially for the price. Very happy with it.

The top and bottom ends of the price spectrum are easy, though. If you want DSLR-style performance and quality, prepare your bank manager and buy either the G11 or the excellent Nikon P6000. There are only a few truly decent cameras under £100, so that choice is easy as well.

Love having a small camer that takes great pictures!

I have a big professional camera from canon, but wanting something small I could carry around everyday to take pictures of my kids.  This camera is awesome, small enough to fit in my back pocket, but still quick enough and clear enough to get great shots of my kids.

Good to go.

This is a great camera and I am so glad that I bought it. It was a replacement and cost much less than buying it at a locale store. It takes good indoor and outdoor pictures, is user friendly and has a long lasting battery.
