I got this along with a few other Canon camera models to test out and provide feedback on. This is, to say the least, one of my least favorite in the PowerShot line, at least of those I have dealt with thus far.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS
A few years ago , Canon's PowerShot A-series of compact cameras used to be very popular with hobby photographers and were designed with that audience in mind, with robust construction, comfortable handling, optical viewfinders and manual exposure controls.
