I've always bought canon products after being burned too many times with bad hardware from others. It's not often that I really need to print something, but when I do, I want it to work, not buzz and click for ten minutes before deciding its out of ink.

I gave the sales person at PB Tech a list of what I needed the new printer to do. He recommended this one (along with a couple of others) but because I had used Canon in the past I went with this one. It was a good price and very quick and easy to set up. It is very fast printing and so far has performed well everything I have asked of it. Only thing i do not use (& never will) is the fax function.

yeah it wasn't to hard to set up and seams to print ok. software can be a little "hard" to get the head around but it's also the 1st time using Canon so will see how it is in time. not bad and all-round ok and for the small amount we print it's ok.

Have owned this printer model for 2 months. Prints well.... a bit fiddly to setup wireless printing. The Canon machines are ready to print quickly after turning on without the banging and clunking made by Epson and other brands. Build quality is not wonderful with plastic parts feeling thin, and easily breakable. Handle with care!

Everything works well as you'd expect from Canon. Just one minor annoyance, the control panel flap has to be out in order to print. Otherwise no complaints.
