Canon Pixma Pro-10 Review

Speed is not the Canon Pixma Pro-10's specialty. Rather, this professional inkjet large-format printer will give you print quality that's worthy of being displayed at an art gallery.

Very good output quality when printing high-resolution image files; Large capacity ink cartridges; Three black inks can generate excellent monochrome prints; Wi-Fi connectivity

Large and heavy; No memory card slots; Can only handle cut sheet paper; not rolls; Speed is not its forte

PIXMA PRO-10

"Slow and steady wins the race," is great in theory, unless you're looking for output speed instead of quality. The PIXMA PRO-10, Canon's successor to their PRO-1, is a more affordable (although still pricey) professional inkjet printer that has a lot under the hood.

Network-ready wireless/wired; quiet; CD Printing

If you get a non defective one, they're great.

Third time's the charm I suppose. First one arrived defective in that the carriage constantly jammed. There was no damage to the carton, so this was simply a poorly assembled unit. The second unit worked well other than the orint heads dragged and badly scratched any paper that went though, be it HP...

Canon PIXMA PRO-10 A3+ Printer Review

We review the Canon PIXMA PRO-10 - a premium A3+ photo printer with 10 ink cartridges.

Easy Wi-Fi setup; CD printing tray; Excellent photo quality colour prints; Decent black and white reproduction; Quiet printing

Quite small ink cartridges; Not the quickest at printing full size prints; Expensive for a full set of ink (~£88; *Black and white prints have a very slight sepia tone

Personal experiences with the pro-10

This thing is heavy, which i really dont mind. The build quality is super solid and extremely quiet. The wifi option is a nice touch but will struggle momentarily with a large large file(hence the ethernet option) usb also works well.Printing a colourful/ bright picture on the pro-10 is awesome.

Reliable; Easy Setup; Durable; Fast Print Speed; Easy to use

Canon Pixma PRO-10

As the midlevel model in Canon's professional inkjet photo printer line, the Canon Pixma PRO-10 ($699) strikes a good balance between price, ink cost, and photo quality. While there are some significant feature differences between these three machines, the primary difference is the number of ink cartridges each model uses, which, as you can imagine, can greatly affect the printer's "color range," or "color depth.

Canon Pixma PRO-10 Review

As the midlevel model in Canon's professional inkjet photo printer line, the Canon Pixma PRO-10 ($699) strikes a good balance between price, ink cost, and photo quality. It prints gallery-worthy photos, and—like the other models in the series—it does particularly well with monochrome prints, and other photos with dark backgrounds. Although it lacks some of the features of the Editors' Choice Epson Stylus Photo R3000 , like an LCD and the ability to print from paper rolls, as well as that printer's superb graphics quality and speed, the PRO-10 is easy to recommend for professionals and serious amateurs alike. Design and Features The matte-black PRO-10 is a large, wide printer that you'll want to set on a table or bench. At 8.5 by 27.2 by 15.2 inches (HWD) when closed, the PRO-10 is the same size as the Canon Pixma PRO-100 ($518.94 at Amazon) . It's slightly larger than its closest Epson counterpart, the Epson R3000, though it lacks the latter's LCD screen. Instead, data such as i...

The Canon Pixma PRO-10 photo printer can output gallery-worthy prints, and is an especially good choice if your photographic style tends toward the noir.

Outputs gallery-worthy photos; Especially good with monochrome photo printing; Excellent text quality

Canon Pixma Pro-10 review

Many of the photographs taken these days are shot with smartphones, and most of these cameras are between eight to sixteen megapixels, with a few notable exceptions. That’s fine if you’re going to post the images online or print them out at 4 × 6 or 8 × 10 inches, which a standard photo inkjet printer will suffice. But if you shoot with a digital SLR or other high-end camera, however, especially a “prosumer” model, it’s an entirely different story. These cameras capture images with a very high pixel count and enough metadata to produce professional-quality prints at very large sizes. To print these high-resolution images with the sharpest details and accurate colors, you’ll need a printer capable of doing justice to the image file. One such model is the Canon Pixma Pro-10 ($400), a wide-format photo printer specifically targeted at users who want the very best output. We’re talking prints worthy of an art gallery. Keep in mind that the Pro-10 is a very high-quality professional photo p...

Canon PIXMA Pro-10

The PIXMA Pro-10 sits in the middle of three A3+ printers that were initially announced by Canon at Photokina 2012. Designed primarily for photo enthusiasts, it uses the same Lucia inks as the higher-specified PIXMA Pro-1 , which we reviewed in January 2012 , but with one grey tank instead of the...
