Canon Pixma MG5350 review

Since the introduction of the range in 2004, Canon's Pixma printers have regularly delivered an intoxicating mix of good print quality, strong features and stylish design. The MG5350, then, is treading a distinguished path. But then, this is no bargain basement page churner.

Canon Pixma MG5350 review

Canon's Pixma MFPs rarely provide many surprises, but that's no bad thing: they've been producing our favourite balance of photo quality, text quality and usability for years. This model has a 7.5cm colour screen and support for printing from either Google Picasa or Canon's own Image Gateway.

Canon Pixma MG5350 review Review

The Pixma MG5350 is an easy model to like. It offers most of the features that the average person is going to need from a printer, but at the same time it delivers documents with crisp text and brilliant colours.
Pros:
  • Excellent black text quality
  • Superb photo prints
  • Great graphics performance
  • Fast print speeds
Cons:
  • Not the cheapest model to run
  • Lacks a touchscreen

Canon Pixma MG5350

Another in the range of All In One units from Canon. This is a five ink offering (two sizes of black), if you of Goff persuasion the all black finish will delight, for everyone else – apart from the lounge police – who cares about colour just performance.

A great printer for the price,

The first point i will make about this printer is the only real negative point i can find, it is very greedy with its ink consumption however having tested all of the other features of this printer i can say that everything else works great.

Just the job, needs an eye for detail

The setting up and day to day operation is easy and straightforward. The screen graphics suggest that it uses ink more quickly than my old printer, but it is early days. It prints much faster and more quietly than its predecessor.

I own this printer and I'm really happy with it. Only thing I don't like is the small cartridge size.
