Canon PIXMA iX6550 A3 Photo Printer

My third Canon printer. this particular unit was to replace my my aged HP1220C which has been an excellent unit. Eventually it ceased to work in the yellow spectrum and subsequently other areas. Mother boards are impossible to find.

Canon Pixma A3 printer excellent

This A3+ printer replaced my old HP 1220C which drove me mad with paper feed. Eventually it would only accept lightweight copy paper and was useless for coated photo paper. The Pixma only prints which is all I want it to do: doesn't include fax or copier: I dislike these multiple work stations.

Durable; Easy feed; Great Picture Quality; Lightweight; Simple Controls; Small footprint for an A3

PIXMA iX6550

Canon's PIXMA iX6550 inkjet printer doesn't have a scanner, copier, automatic document feeder, auto-duplex or any other complicated circuitry to confuse you - all it does is print documents and photos from the tiny 6x4in size all the way to A3+.

Compact; Good print quality

No networking; Flimsy plastic build quality
