Manufacturer: Canon
This is a great, handy little scanner for on the go! A few of the nice features are that you do not need an external power source since it receives power from the USB port. Also, and I did not know this when I purchased it, it scans both sides at the same time as it pulls the paper through.
Easy To Set Up; Good Resolution
Canon's P-208 scanner is USB-powered, good for limited home use and also portable as it's quite lightweight and compact. Single-side and duplex scanning in colour are offered via a rather flimsy document feeder with small fold-out arms, and although scanning is quite slow it's acceptable for the...
Great scanner Easy to use Great connectivity as supports twain Extremely portable Fast for its size A high end product compared to alternatives spruiked at office works Highly recommend if you are after a business quality and highly portable device
This little might mite is great. We do a fair amount of scanning, but not a high volume, and the two-sided scanning function is great. I just bought another for the other office. The packaging from Costco was poor, it was not sealed, so I need to make sure that the thing wasn't damaged or altered in...
small footprint
not for large volume scanning
Amazing scanner, its functionality defeats its size. The application driver do not need to be loaded in the OS. Out of the box, can be plugged in XP and have it in service w/o any reboot. It has only two buttons. Read the manual though for the combination of the two buttons. 7 Stars.
A great petit scanner that is handy to scan 10 pages documents at once in around a minute; It is a plug and play, kinda remind me the gizmo hand scanner that I had once attached to by 80286 Sanyo machine; This thing does not need configuration or drivers.
None, except for the retail price; It is too high; Get it on sale
When I was buying a scanner I was looking for something different something that was portable and something that was different to the bog standard. This gave me the ability to do things on the move and although having a scanner of my own at home I thought that this would be the perfect addition to...

Bought this for my medical office to easily scan ID's and Insurance cards to my patient charts and it has overall been great. The only problem I had was it had reset or something and my computer wasn't recognizing it was already installed. The problem was fixed and no issues since.
Canon's ImageFORMULA P-208 is a neat, USB-powered, portable scanner, with optional wireless connection. Strangely, no OCR software, though.
Well-designed support software; Automated and one-touch scans; Plastic card scan
Fiddly paper guides; No OCR software supplied; Can only scan to graphics files
