I have been using this scanner for more than a year now and have no complaints. I have procured several of them for our clients and they also really like them. With regards to the comment that the output tray is too short, that is incorrect.

Overall, the Canon imageFormula DR-M160II did well on our tests, except for a couple of paper jams when scanning in simplex mode. Otherwise, it scanned accurately and the software did a terrific job of converting scans to searchable text, even though (unlike the Epson DS-860) it wasn't able to meet...
Scans quickly; Very fast text recognition when scanning to searchable PDF files; Includes terrific PDF creation and editing software
In testing, paper occasionally jammed when scanning in simplex mode; Lacks bundled document management and business card archiving software
For the price, this is an excellent Kofax scanner. We are a medium sized enterprise, and are fairly heavy users. So far, this scanner has done a great job.
If you've ever looked at the scanner sections of HP's, Canon's, Epson's, or Brother's Web sites, then you know that there are literally hundreds of models available, ranging in prices from around $50 up to and beyond $2,000.
Quick and efficient document scanner. We have about 20 of these scanners now. Haven't had any problems with any of them.
This scanner has been on the market for months and yet only one review can be found anywhere. Not a good sign. And the fact that Canon software works only with Windows is stupid these days. So what if Canon includes initial Mac drivers; they never update them.
